Atlanta home inspector highly recommends sealing off the holes in the electrical panel to prevent bugs and mice from getting down in your electrical panel.  “What’s that Smell?” Maybe something fried!  Yuck! In all seriuousness, you really dont want anything getting down in your electrical panel and causing problems, sealing the holes off is your best solution….
