Hard wired or an extention cord go ahead and take your pick.

As an Atlanta home inspector I find all kinds of interesting wiring situations. And this one is not an acception to the rule.
I found this extension cord ran all the way across the ceiling and down to the outlet. Most of the time the garage door opener is hardwired in to a direct power box. We not only have the garage door plugged in here but 2 other items as well. Extension cords should not be used as permanent wiring. This is just an example of someone trying to do a quick fix.
Now if you or anyone needs an Atlanta home inspection be sure and give me a call at 404-788-2581 or visit our Atlanta home inspections website.
Also how much do you know about Radon gases? If the answer is not much then check out our Radon Inspection page. You might be glad you did as we have had several homes in the Cherokee County, Fulton County and Cobb County test high.
