My wife and I are finally buying our first home. As you can imagine, this is a major source of anxiety for us. My step-daughter’s father told us of his home buying experience, about how his home inspector spent about 45 minutes to an hour going over the place. David came out yesterday morning and spent five and a half hours going over every single detail, documented and photographed everything, went at our speed in explaining his findings and left me, as a husband and father, with a considerable boost in my peace of mind making such a large investment for my family. David was completely professional, friendly, and genuinely concerned about our needs. He spent considerable time ensuring that we knew exactly what we were getting, from the minor, cosmetic issues to the more serious, “dig in your heels” type problems. I cannot recommend IHI Home Inspections highly enough. I simply do not have the words to express, not only my satisfaction, but how deeply impressed I am with the level of service I received. My only regret is that I couldn’t post this last night. When I was a younger man, working in sales (which I was terrible at, by the way), my sales manager once told me that if you make a customer happy they may tell one or two people but if you make them mad they’ll tell everybody that will stand still and listen to them for more than 3 minutes.
