Persimmon Creek Animal Hospital Open House

We now have a new Animal Hospital open in the Union Hill area and I wanted to take a moment and introduce them to you.  I stopped by there the other day and spoke with Dr. Jen Thompson who is the owner and she told me a little bit about the facility.  Dr. Thompson handles your every day normal vet visits but she is also qualified and trained in ultra sound and orthopedics.

Buying a foreclosure, get an Atlanta home inspection done

So you are looking for a deal and you think you have found the perfect deal because it is a foreclosed home.  Buying a foreclosed home leaves you at a higher risk because often they have been either abandoned or neglected or even worse gutted.  Because of the bargain that you have found you don’t really think to check all the issues, one of our customers walked around the home several times and saw nothing wrong with the home.  They loved the home and the deal so much that they completely over looked the fact that the two air conditioning units we’re missing.  It is possible to get a great deal, just make sure that you get a certified home inspector to check it out and review the home inspection report carefully so that you have a thorough knowledge of what you are buying.  Having a certified home inspector do a home inspection decreases your potential risk as well as your financial nightmares.

As an Atlanta home inspector, I really want to caution new home buyers or first time home buyers to be sure and get the home inspected.  We will take the extra time to go over the entire home inspection process with you and make sure that you have a guideline and a maintenance report to follow, so you can maintain the value of your investment.

Atlanta home inspector encourages you to have that new roof checked

As an Atlanta home inspector I am amazed at how many roofing companies come out of the wood work after a hail storm.  We have been called by several clients to come out and do a final roof inspection before they do a final check.  There was one particular company that we had to go back several times, sometimes it is the little things that the roofing company thinks no one will notice.  This home owner was very happy that they decided to get a roof inspection done.  All roofing companies do not stack up the same.  One client wanted to know if this was all he got for his money after we did the inspection because it only had a couple of pictures in the roof inspection report.  He was concerned that he had paid us and we didn’t do a thorough job on inspecting his roof.  I was very happy to inform him, that not only did we look over his entire roof, but he had chosen a roofing company that did an outstanding job!!  That he should be very pleased with his report and with his decision to hire Dr. Roof.  We have started recommending Dr. Roof now personally to those friends that call us and ask about a roofing company.

As an Atlanta home inspector most folks know that I love a good joke, but this one is one that my wife thought was great.  As a matter of fact, this is probably something that she would think about doing. 

 

Car Problems

 

Sandra was out driving her car and while stopped at a red light, the car just died. It was a busy intersection, and the traffic behind her starting growing.

 

The guy in the car directly behind her started honking his horn continuously as Sandra continued to try getting the car to start up again.

 

Finally Sandra gets out of her car and approaches the guy in the car behind her.

 

“I can’t seem to get my car started,” Sandra said, smiling.

“Would you be a sweetheart and go and see if you can get it started for me. I’ll stay here in your car and lean on your horn for you.”

Atlanta home inspector shares Sequoyah Regional Library News

We are all the time taking our kids to the  Sequoyah Regional Library  and I just read in the All Around Town Magazine that the library has new hours. 

New Hours are as follows:

Monday – Thursday: 9:00 am – 8 pm

Friday and Saturday 9 am – 5 pm

Sunday 2 – 6 pm

Also the libraries will be closed Friday, April 10 and Sunday April, 12.
